1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RacketMaps ("the Service"), available at racketmaps.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

RacketMaps is a free, community-driven platform that helps users discover tennis, padel, and pickleball clubs and courts worldwide. The Service includes an interactive map, club listings, user-submitted reviews, photos, and suggestions.

3. User-Generated Content

By submitting content (reviews, photos, club information, suggestions) to RacketMaps, you:

• Grant RacketMaps a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce, and distribute your content on the platform.
• Represent that you own or have the right to submit such content.
• Acknowledge that submissions are published automatically and may be removed by moderators at any time (see our UGC Moderation Policy).
• Agree not to submit content that is false, misleading, defamatory, obscene, hateful, or violates the rights of others.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without written permission.
• Submit spam, fake reviews, or misleading information.
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, fingerprinting, or other abuse prevention measures.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate another person or entity.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

5. Club Ownership Claims

Club owners may claim their listing by verifying ownership via email. Claimed listings grant the owner the ability to update club information. RacketMaps reserves the right to verify claims and revoke access if fraudulent activity is detected.

6. Accuracy of Information

RacketMaps displays information contributed by users and aggregated from public sources. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing, review, or court detail. Always verify information directly with the club before visiting.

7. Intellectual Property

The RacketMaps name, logo, design, and software are the property of RacketMaps. Map tiles are provided by MapTiler under their respective licence. User-submitted content remains the property of the submitter, subject to the licence granted in Section 3.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RacketMaps shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on any information provided.

10. Content Removal

RacketMaps reserves the right to remove any content at our sole discretion, without prior notice. If you believe content violates these Terms or your rights, contact us at legal@racketmaps.com.

11. Termination

We may restrict or terminate access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes take effect when posted. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
